Great station with many connections. The JR lines and Keisei lines are here. Lots of shopping and food places. Very energetic area.

A connector for JR Sobu Rapid line (from Tokyo station) and and Tobu line. Departments/eateries/convenience stores are conveniently located within the station.Nice for passengers who need to make a trip between Tokyo and Chiba.

You cannot get from Funabashi Station to the Keisei Funabashi line bound for Narita in 3 minutes. Despite what Google Maps tells you. You’d need to buy a separate ticket for the Airport Liner which usually has a line.
